There is currently pandemonium in Akure as Protesters today shut down the Governor’s Office at Alagbaka, Akure, Ondo State capital, over alleged killing of another five farmers by armed herdsmen in the last 24hours.
The farmers were shot dead in another invasion by armed herdsmen at Aba Oyinbo, Akure North Local Government Area of the state.
The protesters stormed the Governor’s Office display bodies of the casualties of invasion.
The farmers were killed early hours of Wednesday by the armed herdsmen who had about a fortnight ago killed about 20 farmers in four farm settlements in the same local government.
