Barr. Tope Komolafe, the member representing Ifedore Local Government Area in the Ondo State House of Assembly, has donated 100 pieces of 400-watt solar-powered light to rural communities in the local government.
In addition to this, he provided a sum of ₦1 million to support party leaders in the area.
The lawmaker’s latest gesture followed his previous financial contributions to the execution of borehole projects across Ifedore, demonstrating his commitment to improving infrastructure and enhancing security in the region.
At the event where the donations were officially presented, the APC Chairman of Ifedore Local Government, Hon Tunde Fawoyi, commended Barr. Komolafe for his consistent efforts in community development.
“Barr. Tope Komolafe has shown time and again that he is a true representative of the people. His contributions to the progress of Ifedore are commendable, and we appreciate his unwavering support for the party and the local communities,” Fawoyi stated.
Echoing similar sentiments, the Ifedore Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Dipo Ajibola, praised the lawmaker’s generosity and foresight in addressing the needs of his constituents.
“This is not the first time Barr. Komolafe has supported our people, and it certainly won’t be the last. His investment in solar lighting projects is a strategic move to enhance security and improve the quality of life for our residents. We are proud to have him as our representative,” Ajibola said.
The event witnessed a gathering of prominent political figures and community leaders, including Engr. Rasaq Obe, the immediate past Commissioner for Energy; Rt. Hon. Ayo Agbonmuseri; Hon. Idowu Adebusuyi, Commissioner, House of Assembly Service Commission; Col. Apata Olu; Mrs. Damilola Oluyede; Prince Emmanuel Aderosoye Fadola ; Hon. Dare Boboye; Prince Adegbonmire Tunde; and Hon. Ajikiola Oluwasogo , the immediate past Council Chairman.

Speaking at the occasion, Barr. Komolafe reiterated his dedication to the development of Ifedore Local Government and the well-being of its people.
“Our people deserve better infrastructure, and I will continue to do my best to attract development projects to our communities. The provision of solar-powered lights is a step towards ensuring a safer and more comfortable environment for everyone,” he said.
