DAF Expands Digital Literacy Training to Rural Schools in Alignment with Ondo State’s Digital Advancement Agenda

Building on its commitment to education and digital empowerment, the Daramola Adesuyi Foundation (DAF) has extended its Digital Literacy Training Program to rural secondary schools in Ondo State.

This initiative is designed to bridge the digital divide, ensuring that students in underserved communities gain essential ICT skills for the modern economy.

The pilot phase of the program was launched in Ondo East at Holy Trinity Grammar School, where students receive practical training in Basic Computer Operations, Microsoft Word, and Excel. By equipping them with foundational digital skills, the program prepares them for further opportunities in technology-driven careers.

Aligned with the Ondo State Government’s agenda to advance digital literacy, this initiative fosters technological inclusion, ensuring that every student, regardless of location, has access to digital education.

At the end of the training, outstanding students will be sponsored for an advanced tech training program, further enhancing their career prospects in the digital economy.

As part of its broader vision, DAF continues to integrate digital literacy with its Entrepreneurship Training Program, ensuring students gain both technical and business skills. This approach enhances economic opportunities and prepares young minds for a future driven by technology.
