Member representing Okitipupa Constituency I at Ondo State House of Assembly, Chris Ayebusiwa, has embarked on rural electrification project in his constituency.
This was made public on Friday in a statement signed and released by the lawmaker on his verified Facebook page.
According to Hon Ayebusiwa, the electrification was conceived towards ensuring constituents’ access to electricity and enhancing their standard of living.
In his words, “The intervention, for us, is a timely response to complaints received from our people in relation to challenges associated with electricity distribution within the constituency.
“We therefore reasoned that, while the government is making frantic efforts in this direction, we should at least make some intervention in the interest of immediate reliefs.
“As we progress with these efforts, we sincerely plan to extend it to other parts of the constituency, depending on the peculiarity of the needs and the urgency involved.”
