Labour Party Declares Support for Ondo State Resident Election Commissioner, Mrs Toyin Babalola
The chairman Hon Abiodun Agbaje and the State Working Committee of Labour Party in Ondo State wishes to express its unwavering support and confidence in the Ondo State Resident Election Commissioner, Mrs Toyin Babalola and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as the state prepares for the upcoming off-cycle governorship election on November 16, 2024.
We like to encourage the Commission to ensure a free, fair, and transparent electoral process in the coming governorship election.
The chairman of the commission and all INEC staff has the responsibility to contribute immensely to the greatness of Nigeria by being impartial in conducting elections.
The Labour Party remains committed to democratic principles and the rule of law, and we believe that INEC’s impartiality and professionalism are crucial to the success of elections
We urge all stakeholders to support INEC in its endeavors to conduct a credible election, and we call on our party members and supporters to remain peaceful and law-abiding during the electoral process.
