Ipinsagba Distributes Food items, Clothes, Building Materials in Ondo North

The Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Pastor Jide Ipinsagba has distributed food items, clothes and building materials to vulnerable residents in the zone.

The food items distributed include rice, beans, noodles, garri and cooking spice, while bags of cement, iron sheets and mattresses, were given to victims of fire accident in the area.

Also, crutches were given to some people with disabilities in the six local government areas of the district.

Speaking at the distribution ceremony in Ikare-Akoko, Senator Ipinsagba said the gesture is in fulfilment of his promises to stamp out poverty in the area, noting that more initiatives that will make lives of his people better are coming.

The Senator, who was represented by one of his aides, Sunday Aliyu, stressed that he genuinely cares for the well-being and interests of his people, adding that he will not treat issues concerning their welfare with levity.

He told them, “expect more developmental projects ahead. This is only the start. Our distribution efforts have included fertiliser, rice and other items, and we are committed to do more. I urge our people to stand behind the government’s positive initiatives and lend their support”.

One of the beneficiaries, Alhaja Simbiat Aminu commended the Senator for remembering his constituents, urging him to implement the plans he has for the people without delay.
